They’re simple to prepare and perfect for when you need a make breakfast or snack, especially for those with hectic mornings!

Instead of making one jar of overnight oats while you have all the ingredients out, just pour into a few additional jars. They will last up to 5 days in the fridge and only take you minutes to prep!

This is where you can have some fun with fresh fruit, dried fruit, nut butters, nuts, seeds and spices (like cinnamon, nutmeg or cardamom). There are so many topping ideas and combinations, and I think that’s what makes this such a great versatile recipe! Here are a few ideas to get you started:

Overnight oats - 4 ways:

Carrot cake overnight oats:

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 100ml milk of choice

  • 1/2 carrot - grated 

  • Small handful walnuts

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp honey

  • Optional scoop vanilla protein powder

Banana Bread overnight oats:

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 100ml milk of choice

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tsp honey

  • Optional tbsp of chia seeds

  • Optional scoop vanilla protein powder

  • 1/2 banana - sliced 

  • Small handful pecans

Berrylicious overnight oats:

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 100ml milk of choice

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tsp honey

  • Optional tbsp of chia seeds

  • Optional scoop vanilla protein powder

  • 1/2 cup berries of choice - fresh or frozen 

Apple pie overnight oats:

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 100ml milk of choice

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp honey

  • Optional tbsp of chia seeds

  • Optional scoop vanilla protein powder

  • 1/2 apple - grated or thinly sliced

  • Small handful pecans or almonds

Prep method:

Add all your ingredients (except for your fruit & nuts) into a clean jar, and mix. Top with your fruit and nuts of choice. Put a lid on your jar, and pop into the fridge overnight. It's as simple as that!
